Tomorrow December 7, 2020, is the day Ghanaians will be voting to elect a new leader for 4 more years.

They will be selecting a political leader to lead the executive and legislative arms of governemnt of Ghana.

Ghanaians will be required to go to the polls to vote for their favorite candidates to win.

This will be based on the promised the leaders have made to the people and how it has touched their hearts and minds.

The political party or leader to emerge winner of the polls will be sworn in as president of the Nation.

Indeed, as we talk about leadership, change of government and continuity, there is the need to preach peace.

Ghanaians are also entreated to stay safe  with a peaceful mindset because one cannot stand the consequences of violence.

Although there are 12 candidates seeking to get the mandate to lead as Presidents, the competition is clearly between the NDC and the NPP.

The race is clearly between President Akufo-Addo and former President John Mahama for tomorrow’s polls.

The voting exercise is expected to take place at polling centres from 7am to 5pm tomorrow.

It is supposed to take place across 275 constituencies in the country. After 5pm, the votes will be counted, collated and later announced to Ghanaians.

The final outcome will be announced by the Electoral Commission Chairperson Madam Jean Mensa.

The candidates for the 2020 presidential elections are Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo (NPP), John Dramani Mahama (NDC), Christian Kwabena Andrews (GUM), Ivor Kobina Greenstreet (CPP), Akua Donkor (GFP), Henry Herbert Lartey (GCPP), Hassan Ayariga (APC), Percival Kofi Akpaloo (LPG), David Asibi Ayindenaba Apasera (PNC), Brigitte Akosua Dzogbenuku (PPP), Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings (NDP) and Alfred Kwame Asiedu Walker, (Independent Candidate).

Before one can be eligible to vote tomorrow, one needs to be a Ghanaian and have voter ID card.
