Reports reaching newsatgh has it that following the defeat of Legon Cities FC to Ebusua Dwarfs, their management got furious and ordered the team bus to leave the players behind.
They left the players at the Accra sports stadium after the match.
This was when they lost to Ebusua Dwarfs on Friday night.
Legon Cities FC sustained their third defeat of the league season in the hands of Ebusua Dwarfs.
Due to this, they continue to stay at the lower positions of the league.
The Accra based team has really invested a lot in signings ahead of the 2020/2021 premier league season.
The biggest and historical signing made by Legon Cities was the signing of Ghana’s very own baby Jet.
They signed Asamoah Gyan for $250,000 a year with other packages and he signed for 4 years according to reports.
After this big investment made, they have not been able to produce any positive results in six matches played.
They have lost three games and drawn three games.
Their head coach was sacked after they lost a 3-0 defeat against Great Olympics and was replaced by Coach Bashir Hayford.
All plans made by the management has not made any good effort in the team yet.
It’s not that surprising how the team management got furious to take such an action although inappropriate.
They’ve really tried to make the team stand but it’s not working as expected for them.
