Award-winning Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy has categorically stated that, complimenting NPP’s Nana Addo does not signify his endorsement for the New Patriotic party.
Speaking to Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, the Bhim nation president explained quite a lot. He said he is only acknowledging the good works of H.E. Nana Addo and not the New Patriotic Party.
He went on to say that, Nana Akuffo-Addo has done many great things that deserve his endorsement.
In addition, he declared that, he has every right as a Ghanaian citizen, to commend anything he deems commendable.
Stonebwoy continually stressed on the fact that endorsing Nana Addo does not mean endorsing the NPP.
Abeiku Santana and the Burniton music group boss were discussing the public endorsement of the ruling party by Samini.
Samini has composed a campaign song for the New Patriotic Party ahead of the December 7 polls.
Pushed by the host to admit if he will take money from a political party for campaign, he responded by saying that he will not do that for now. Nonetheless, he outlined that he respects the position of everyone.
The big act added that he does not see those who openly declare their support for political parties as hypocrites because whether they keep it public or private; they still belong to one of the parties.
Stonebwoy as well confirmed that he would consider contesting for Member of Parliament for Ashiaman in the future.
