Self-acclaimed queen of Ghana music, Wendy Addo, better known as Wendy Shay has bid a warm welcome to new female Rufftown Record Label signee, Kiki Marley.
Not long ago, the CEO of Rufftown Records, Bullet, introduced his new signee who is unsurprisingly a female act.
Rufftown is a Record Label has been tagged for signing and managing female artistes.
Though the Record Label has worked with some male artistes like Danny Beatz, Ray James and Brella, it has chosen to promote female singers more.
Currently, Wendy Shay and Fantana are the female songstresses he is pushing. Rufftown Records has welcomed yet another talent who goes by the stage name Kiki Marley.
As a senior colleague in the Record Label, Wendy Shay has gladly welcomed the young act on her Instagram page.
She claims to have saved the female music scene from collapsing two and half years ago since the sad demise of Ebony Reigns. According to the afropop and afrobeats singer, even though, they did not want to open the door for her, she opened it by force with the help of God, tenacity, meekness and loyalty.
“@kikimarleylive welcome to rufftown records”, she said. She encouraged Kiki Marley to come and do her thing because she believes she has great talent.
Queen Shay further advised her to be humble and loyal to the brand in order not to bring their record Label down. “Go for Gold….you’er A Star”, she ended. Wendy Shay has actually received praises from her fans for the great welcome speech. They also appear to already love Kiki.
Kiki Marley is the fourth female artiste to be signed to Rufftown Records. She hails from Ashanti region. Much is expected of the new found talent, as all Rufftown record signees are always vibrant and hence warmly received and loved by the public.
