Veteran gospel singer, Yaw Sarpong has revealed the brainwave behind his latest peace song that features Ghanaian all-stars.

According to Yaw Sarpong, the scar left in him by the Liberian war inspired him to release the peace song in order to remind Ghanaians to maintan peace before, during and after the election.
He made this revelation on Happy F
M during a discussion with Rev. Nyansa Boakwa on the Nsempii show.

He disclosed that, God gifted him the peace song in the year 2000 but He gave him the license to finally outdoor the song this year.

He admitted that, the time he released his peace song was indeed perfect.

Furthermore, he expressed his surprised at the manner in which the Ghanaian musicians happily agreed to be featured on his track.
He continued by saying that, he was never expecting the level of respect the musicians showed him despite the fact that he is aware they has some respect for him. In addition, he appreciated the massive support given to him by his colleague singers.

Yaw Sarpong, in his words urged Ghanaians to go in their numbers and vote peacefully come December 7. He said this because Ghana is the only place have.

Yaw Sarpong’s peace song features the likes of Kwame Eugene, Joyce Blessing, Fameye, Akwaboah,Wutah Afiriyie.
Also featured are Pat Thomas, Eno Barony, Kofi Sarpong, Lord Morgan and Dr. Pounds.

It is a song of peace that carries a great message to all Ghanaians.
